Tribute to First Responders and Aid Organizations

In the aftermath of the January 2025 Eaton and Palisades fires, Afterburner worked end-to-end to help AAPI firefighters across Southern California tell their stories in their own words. Through intimate interviews and footage, the project captures moments of courage, loss, pride, and reflection—both as first responders and as members of the AAPI community.

Designed to live across stage, long-form, and social platforms, this work honors the people behind the uniforms and preserves their voices at a moment that mattered.
